A little Halloween help.

Choose Register Your Home, select what you will offer and add your address and Halloween hours. You can add up to three photos. Contest entries need a photo of the display. Already registered? Use Manage My Stop to update your listing.

Yes, please do. Choose Hand out treats, then We'll leave a candy bowl out. Your home shows on the map as a regular treat stop, so only you know it is a bowl. If a trick-or-treater taps "Running low" or "Out of candy" on your stop, we email you so you can refill it. Pick up an orange flag and glow stick too, so families without a phone can find you.

Yes. On the "How will your home take part?" step, choose everything that fits: hand out treats, enter the decorating contest, host a haunted house or host a kids activity. You only answer questions for what you pick.

No account is needed. We email you a sign-in link. You can also choose a password (6 characters or more) if you prefer typing one in.

Homes on the Twin Hills address list are approved automatically. If yours is not on the list, the event team reviews it and you get an email once it is approved.

Hours are optional and up to you. The official event starts at 5 PM on Halloween, but you choose when to hand out candy. If you leave hours blank, your home shows hours not posted until you add them. To set your hours, type a time like 6 or 6:30 (PM is assumed unless you type am), or tap the clock button.

Open Manage My Stop. Use your registration email and password, or request an email sign-in link. You can update hours, candy status, activities, details and photos.

They let families without a phone see who is taking part. An orange flag and orange glow stick mean candy or treats are here. A purple flag marks a home in the decorating contest. Put them at the curb when you open and pull them in when you are done.

Pick them up at the community mailboxes. We will share the pickup spots closer to Halloween. If you cannot easily get to a mailbox (for example seniors, mobility or medical reasons), choose delivery when you register or in Manage My Stop.

No. Look for an orange flag and a glowing orange ring at the curb, or check the Halloween map. A purple flag marks a decorated home in the contest. A porch light alone does not mean a home is handing out treats.

Open now means the home is inside its posted candy hours, or the host marked it open today. Opening soon means candy starts within the next hour. Opens later shows the next posted time. Paused, Out of candy and Done for tonight come from the host. Every registered home stays on the map, even when it is closed. The candy schedule lists every home's hours by date, and you can print it.

Open Manage My Stop and choose Out of Candy, Low on Candy, Paused, Closing Soon or Closed. Neighbors see the update on the map. Pull your orange flag and glow stick in too, so families without a phone know. Running out of candy does not close your decorations or other activities.

On Halloween night, any trick-or-treater can tap it to let the host know candy is running low or gone. It never changes what other families see on the map. Hosts with a candy bowl get an email, at most one every 15 minutes. Your location is not sent.

Choose Enter the decorating contest when you register, pick one award, and add a photo of your display. A full front view works best as your first photo. Photos from homes on the Twin Hills address list show right away.

No. Each home enters one award: Spooky, Too Cute To Spook or Fall Flavor. Pick the one that fits your display best.

A separate award that celebrates the colors and charm of autumn. Pumpkins, fall leaves, hay bales, harvest decorations, seasonal flowers, wreaths and other traditional fall touches all count, and none of them is required. Entries are judged with their own autumn rubric: autumn theme, composition, color and materials, creativity, craftsmanship and overall seasonal appeal. Scary or Halloween decorations are not part of the Fall Flavor judging. The same photo rules and the same household voting rules apply, and handing out candy is optional and chosen separately.

$1,500 in prizes, all paid as Amazon gift cards. People's Choice: $300 for first place, $200 for second and $100 for third, decided by neighbors' Community Rating across all three awards. Spooky, Too Cute To Spook and Fall Flavor: $250 to the first-place home in each, judged based on an objectively strict rubric for that award. Individual leaderboard: $150 to the top player after the night's points are checked. The family team board is for fun and has no prize. Every prize and how to win it is on the Prizes page.

Enter your home address when you first vote. Everyone in your household can vote with their own profile. For each home, your household's first three ratings count toward its score. A household member who earned a visit level and rated that home in person can replace a lower-weight one. The limit is separate for every home, and any number of households can vote. Your latest rating replaces your earlier one until voting closes. You may vote for your own home, even if it is the only home you rate. Voting is subject to fairness checks. Ratings made at a home count extra.

Yes. A rating you make while standing at a home counts extra, any day voting is open, not only on Halloween. Rate three new decorated homes in person with no more than 25 minutes between each, and your voting profile earns a visit level: +0.25 more weight on every rating you made in person this season, including earlier ones. Levels stay for the whole season. Only unfinished progress toward the next level (one or two homes) resets after 25 minutes without a new home, so the next level takes three new homes. Each home counts once toward levels. Levels belong to your own profile, not your family. Your own home counts extra only after you earn a level at other homes. Allow location and keep this site open as you walk. Use Vote for what's nearby to see the closest contest homes first.

Yes. Your own home gets a normal vote, never the in-person extra.

After voting closes and the results are checked and approved. Nobody sees running totals while voting is open.

Add or swap photos any time until 6:00 PM on Halloween. Then contest photos lock so every vote and judge score covers the same photos. A contest home with no photo yet can still add its first one. Homes without a photo show as entered but cannot be voted on until a photo is added.

Use photos of your own decorations as they look this Halloween. Normal phone photos are fine, including Night Mode, HDR, Portrait mode and your phone's built-in enhancements, and so are ordinary edits like cropping, brightness, color and filters. Photos made by AI, or changed with AI to add decorations or swap in a different scene, are not accepted.

Each home is judged on its photos as one set. Make the first photo a full front view and use the others for details. Neighbors rate homes on Halloween night, and scores are finalized after the event.

A private list of homes you liked. Favorites do not count as votes, and nobody else sees them.

Open Halloween Live. Each home shows its status (open, running low, out of candy or closed) and you can filter to homes that are open now.

Tap Add to My Night on the homes you want, then open Routes to get a walking order. Mark homes visited as you go.

Hosts choose a scare level and warnings for effects such as strobe lights, fog, loud sounds, actors and simulated gore. Check those details and filter the map before visiting.

The home plans to offer a non-food option. Check with the host about individual items; no home or treat is guaranteed allergy-safe.

A game for kids and families. Walk the neighborhood to find six ghosts on the map, or play the seated version from home. Find it under Play.

The leaderboard opens at 5 PM on Halloween and closes at 9 PM. Visiting candy stops, map discoveries and walking earn points only in those four hours. Ghost Hunt and quick game rounds earn full points from when Play opens on October 30. Voting earns full points from 6 AM on Halloween, and part of its points before that (see the next question). A rating earns points only after you have spent at least 4 seconds on that home before pressing Submit: 4 to 10 seconds earns 3/4 points, and 10 seconds or more earns full points. Your rating counts for the contest either way. Points earned before 5 PM wait and count when the leaderboard opens. A home you rate on Halloween night earns 10 points, or 15 when the site confirms you rated it in person. The full list is on the leaderboard page. There is no limit on total points; each home, game and discovery counts once.

Your first five early home ratings earn half points. Your next five earn quarter points. Early means any time before 6 AM on Halloween, counted across the whole season. More early ratings still count for the decorating contest but do not earn more points. On Halloween, from 6 AM to 9 PM, every new home you rate earns full points. Early points are saved and count on the leaderboard when it opens at 5 PM, and rating the same home again later never earns points twice.

Early voting is fine and encouraged. If you are not trying to win the leaderboard, vote whenever it suits you; every rating helps the decorating contest the same way. If you are trying to win the leaderboard, rate most homes on Halloween between 6 AM and 9 PM, when each new home earns full points. Leaderboard points are separate from the decorating contest.

Yes. Open My Halloween and turn off showing your name on the leaderboard.

Walking Ghost Hunt and Live Walk use location only while the page is visible; the hunt does not send it to the site. Walking points are different: only after you tap Start Walk does this phone send its location to the site, so the distance can be checked inside Twin Hills. The site keeps only the distance and clears the last position when you stop or at 9 PM. If this phone is also set up to vote, it sends its location while voting is open, so a rating you make at a home counts as in person. Those location points are deleted within two days. Map services receive the map area you view. Seated play needs no location. Family teams share game names and collected ghosts, not locations.

A rare ghost that appears on the walking hunt after you have walked about half a mile. To earn points for it, tap Start Walk first so the site can count your walk. Walking and ghost points count from 5 PM to 9 PM on Halloween.

New ghost friends keep arriving, one at a time, each with its own name and look, in the seated garden and on the walking map. Each one has a short puzzle: match the pairs, find the one that is different, or pick what comes next. Pumpkin Peek and Candy Match also keep going with new rounds. These fill your ghost album and raise your Halloween level. Leaderboard points come only from your first six ghosts per side, the golden ghost and the first six rounds of each quick game, so playing more is for fun, not for points.

On the Play map, Show me a hint lights up the general area around one ghost for a few seconds. You can use it again after a minute.

Each side of W Harris Rd has its own set of six ghosts, all on public sidewalks, so your family can collect a full set without crossing Harris or stepping into anyone's yard.

Yes. Tap Ghosts on above the map to hide them, or choose Hide ghosts when the map first shows its tip.

No. Your name, email and phone never appear on your listing. Your street address appears on the Halloween map during the event and is hidden afterward. See Privacy for details.
