Twin Hills Halloween neighbor guide

Walk the neighborhood and mark visits

Use Live Walk for navigation and Start Walk for checked walking points.

On this page

Live Walk helps you follow a route or find a nearby home. Start Walk is the separate opt-in control that counts distance for participation points. Starting navigation alone does not start the walking-points tracker.

  1. Choose Start Live Walk on the map or Routes page.
    The walk introduction opens.
  2. Allow location when you want navigation near you.
The nearby or next-stop view follows the available location.
  3. Tap Mark visited after visiting a home.
The visit is saved or the site explains why it could not confirm it.

A new visit earns 3 points plus 3 when location confirms it, once per home from 5 to 9 PM on Halloween. New visits on this site require you to be within 500 feet of the home. Allow precise location and try near the home. Undo visit reverses the award; marking it again restores the same award. It does not earn a second one.

Count walking distance#

  1. Open My Halloween during Halloween evening.
The Walking points section shows Start Walk from 5 to 9 PM.
  2. Tap Start Walk.
The distance tracker starts after location is allowed.
  3. Keep the page open while walking on public sidewalks.
Checked distance inside Twin Hills accumulates.
  4. Tap Stop Walk when finished.
Location collection for this walking tracker stops.

Every checked 0.2 mile earns 5 points. There is no total walking-point ceiling. Poor location, driving, large gaps and movement outside the neighborhood can fail to count. Only accepted distance counts toward the golden walking ghost's roughly half-mile requirement. The tracker keeps distance and clears its last location when stopped.

Use walk controls#

Pause and resume navigation when needed. Recenter on my location returns the map to you. Details or Full details opens the selected home. The Menu offers your saved plan, skipping the next stop or choosing another. End Walk closes navigation; if the separate points tracker is on, also use Stop Walk. These controls earn 0 points.

Note
Stop somewhere comfortable before using a puzzle or reading your phone. Stay on public sidewalks and marked crossings. Ghosts and map discoveries are virtual; never search private yards.
Expected result

Your accepted visits and checked walking distance appear in My Halloween.
