Fill in step 1 with your street address, your name, your email and how you want to be contacted.

Step 1 asks where your home is and how to reach you. Your contact details stay private. Your street address is shown on the Halloween map during the event and is hidden after the published cutoff.

  1. Check that Where will this take place? shows At my Twin Hills home.
    No change is needed. This choice is already selected.
  2. Type your house number and street in Home street address.
    Leave out the city. The form adds Arlington, TX 76001 and checks that your home is in the event area.
  3. Type your full name in Name.
  4. Type your email address in Email.
    This is the address your sign-in email goes to.
  5. Type a phone number in Phone (optional) if you want to give one.
    You can leave this box empty.
  6. Choose Email, Phone or Text message in Preferred contact.
    Your choice shows in the box.
  7. Read I understand that my address will be shown for this event.
    The box starts checked. Your street address appears on the Halloween map during the event.

Choose a password (optional)#

You do not need a password. You can always sign in with a link sent to your email. A password is for neighbors who prefer typing one in.

  1. Click Choose a password now (optional).
    Two boxes open, Password (optional) and Confirm password.
  2. Type a password of at least 6 characters in Password (optional).
  3. Type the same password in Confirm password.
    Tick Show passwords to see what you typed.

Move to step 2#

  1. Click Continue.
    Step 2 opens if your address matches the Twin Hills address list. Otherwise, an address check dialog opens.

Correct an address filled in by your phone#

When the address check dialog opens, edit Your Twin Hills street address and click Check corrected address. A matching address takes you to the next step. Check your name and email on step 1 too. If the address is correct but missing from the list, click Yes, I'm sure. Continue anyway. Your submission stays subject to event-team review. At final submission, the same choice reads Yes, I'm sure. Submit anyway. Closing the dialog or pressing Escape keeps you on the form; your contact details stay filled in.

Expected result

Step 1 is complete and step 2, Take part, is open.

Troubleshooting

A red message appears above the form when you click Continue.
Complete Home street address before continuing.
CauseA required box is empty. The street address, name and email are required.
FixFill in the box the message names, then click Continue again.
The form stops on your email address.
Complete Email before continuing.
CauseThe email is missing or is not written as a full address.
FixType your full email address, including the @ sign and everything after it, then click Continue.
The form refuses your password.
Use a password with at least 6 characters.
CauseThe password has fewer than 6 characters.
FixType a longer password, or clear both password boxes and use the email link instead.
